I think this establishment is better by far than Sun Devil on the same street. I brought a battery in for checking and they did it promptly with no charge. Also I had an oil change during which they found a battery that needed replacement. I asked how much for the battery. They quoted a price of $99.00 which was more than I wanted to pay. Without qubbling they removed it from the invoice. I went to Wal-Mart and they confirmed that the battery was defective. I had purchased the battery from Wal-Mart and they gave me a credit of $18 for the old battery and charged me less for the new battery than $99. Of course I installed it myself for further saving. If I had purchased the battery elsewhere I would have paid the $99 as I felt it was appropriately priced including labor for installation. Moral Go to Wal-Mart??

Fast Service but lots of "unexpected" upcharges
I was fortunate enough to have received a discount postcard for a $16.99 oil change. While waiting for my car, I was asked if I wanted a new air filter as mine was dirty. I agreed to it. Once the service was complete (approximately an hour later), I was shown the breakdown of services. The $16.99 oil change plus an extra quart of oil plus the $14.99 air filter had somehow miraculously become a total of $47.99 with tax. There was an extra charge for "extra labor"; Honestly, I can change my own air filter. And as expected (from a not-so-honest establishment), the oil change was more than advertised. Suffice it to say that I won't be using their services anymore. Citizens of Sun City West, beware!
