5 stars for facials with Faye! (but NOT for hair)
I've been getting facials from Faye for a year and a half. I'd tried out other places, but nobody quite took the time to understand my seriously problem skin like Faye does. She listens to my input on how my skin reacts to different treatments and adjusts what she does accordingly. Faye does not push products on me but has suggested a couple that really do work for my skin. Also, she makes sure I get the best deal, letting me know about special promotions and free add-ons. It's always a relaxing experience; I can't wait for my appointment on Friday.
Now, the hair is a whole different issue. The cut and color is okay but nothing spectacular. My color was nice the first time it was done but has devolved to a blah brown and the cut is a very simple. It is not worth the money. In fact, I'm currently looking for a new salon for my hair.

Love them recommend them
I love my salon and want everyone to know it and try it. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. They all work together and seem to really like each other, I have never gone to another salon like this. I am not a new customer but did move away for college so I got to see other salons. They do amasing color, cuts and updo I have never been disappointed.

terrible cut in a high pressure salon
This salon experience was like none other I had ever had before, and not in a good way. I'm a casual person so I definitely did not fit in here. The appointment started off oddly when I was given a tour of the salon. The tour amounted to a sales pitch for their various services. The stylist barely paid attention to me as I showed her a picture of my hair after it was cut last. I wanted her to do the same thing. Seems easy enough since I know I like it and it works on my hair. No unrealistic expectations here. She cut my hair much shorter and the end result is awful. During my appointment I was given so many fake compliments I was embarrassed. The assistant, stylist and receptionist were pushing so many products on me to the point I was annoyed. I will never go back and would not recommend this place to anyone.

Best hair cut, samples, and customer service.
I had tried a few places before coming to Salon Estique. Tina, my hair dresser was awesome. She always got my style and cut right. She took the time to really understand what I wanted each time I came in. This place give a complementary head massage prior to your cut. Also they give you tons of samples each time. I would highly recommend this place.

The best facial by Faye as well as cutomer service from her as well as the front desk!
The front desk is always nice and I like their reminder calls. Faye gives one of the best facials around. I love her massages and her knowledge of many different skin care lines. She's great with conversation and very personablel.I do think she needs an updated room.

I went in as a model for an assistant. I was nervous, but they took really good care of me. The stylist called the owner over and she consulted with me. I had a great time and everyone helped out and was friendly. They all seemed like really cool people and they new their stuff. Most of all liked that my hair was dome well and I will tell my friends. Thank you! I would pay anything for someone that cares about me.

I travel for a living and walk in to a new salon every 6 weeks to get a cut and color. They were fun and did a great job. Everyone seems to love theiy work. I will plan mt future trips around my hair appts just to go to this salon. Talent, fun and I can get all my services under one roof.

Never go to this Salon
They say their the best but THEY ARE THE WORST!!! I had to have my color re-done 3 times and it's still looks terrible.
I have been to the best back in MD. Eva from Shear Genius was my stylist and did a fantastic job with color & cut. I never had to describe what I wanted - She know what would flatter me the best.
Back to Salon Estique- In reference to my color the owner Sharon said it would be a process to get to the color that I wanted my hair.My color is auburn and I wanted Chestnut brown with honey highlights. A MASTER COLORIST CAN DO IT RIGHT THE VERY VERY 1st Time!!!!!!!!!!! The master colorist that did my color did burgundy with yellow highlights- my hair color would run every time I washed it. 2nd try turned my highlighted ends red and only made the color darker burgundy. They guarantee service 100% so, 3rd attempt by another stylist she did color to mousy brown and I can not even see any highlights at all. The guarantee of 100% should be for a REFUND not to have to go through ever so called master/stylist at there salon and NO one can get the job done correctly. I WOULD NEVER TELL ANYONE ABOUT THIS SALON. They should NOT EVEN CALL THIS PLACE A SALON....

Great Customer service --- Very Disability Friendly
The staff at Salon Estique are kind, fun and courteous. My stylist is great at cutting and foiling hair and has a great personality. I have never left disappointed. For many years now, I have been a wheelchair user which, at times, can make achieving the simplest of tasks difficult- like getting a haircut. After my last appointment, where I recently had my first experience with eyebrow styling, I realized that the staff at Salon Estique have never made me feel like someone in a wheelchair. They have always made me feel like the woman that I am. The atmospher and ambience in the salon is professional and geared towards great customer satisfaction. I highly recommend this salon.

RUDE MANAGEMENT
I had a question regarding the price of my previous visit (I had gotten my hair done there 5 times before and this time I was charged extra during my last visit and did not notice until afterwards). The receptionist said that the manager would return my call. Three days later after I still had not received a call back I called again... This continued 3 more times until I finally got a call. I politely explained my question/concern to the manager and she was rude and abrasive. She abruptly cut me off and essentially told me this call was a waste of her time and hung up on me. I have never been treated so poorly in a customer service situation before!!! This is an expensive salon and it is definitely not worth the price! I do not recomment coming here. The customer is definitely not the priority.

REALLY Expensive
I went to the salon and they quoted me starting at $95 for full highlight. I got a partial highlight and they colored the under layer of my hair 1 shade and I paid $270!! I almost had a heart attack. It was a great color and cut but no better than anywhere else I've ever gone. I have never spent that much on a cut and highlight. I thought the quality was good but not worth the price when I could get the same job done somewhere else for about $100 less.

this is a great salon! I have been going to Brenda for over 5 years ,she is a wonderful colorist and stylist. She always takes the time to discuss and listen to what I want before making any changes.I have never been disappointed. Everyone at the salon is friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this salon. they also have a boutique with some unusual jewelry and other fun items.

Great Price with a Beautiful Result! by Shanelle C. at InsiderPages
I got my hair done here for my wedding and my Senior Prom and both times I loved the result and within the that time fram I paid the exact same amount both times. The salon is beautifully set-up and the staff is so friendly. The results are also worth the money. They even do nails, make-up and so much more.

WORST SALON IN CENTRAL PHX!! by Karen H. at InsiderPages
I went to this salon for the first time August 2005, for a cut and style. Upon my arrival, I was not greeted by the receptionist, she just pointed to the sign up sheet and told me to sign in if I had an appointment. I had to wait about 20 minutes as I was told the stylist was running behind. About 30 minutes later the stylist was ready. I showed her the picture of how I wanted my hair and and she begain to cut. The end result was ok but not worth the price. The stylist was not very friendly and did not really say a word to me through out the whole process. The only time she decided to talk was when the cut was done and it was time to pay the bill. Maybe she finally realized that her tip would also depend on the level of customer service she provided. When I went to pay, the receptionist asked how everything was, I told her that the stylist seemed unhappy today and that I would probably not be back and her response was oh, that is unfortunate. I would not receommend this salon. It is a low class salon that tries to hide behind high prices.

CONS: Rude Staff, Way over priced for level of service

I scheduled my wedding trial and wedding day services with the salon. When I finished my trial they changed the pricing of my services from $133 to over $210 and those of my wedding party from $23 to $43. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. When I complained they canceled my wedding service 2 weeks before the wedding. They don't operate with integrity or ethics

What A Treat
Salon Estique is the most professional salon I have ever experienced. Pedicure, manicure, massage, makeup, waxing hair color, or just a cut and style they do it all. I have never been disappointed with any sevice. The staff are friendly, polite, and efficient. The neck and scalp massage before they shampoo your hair is worth every penny, and the cost is still less that most other professional styling salons! I highly recommend Salon Estique for all your beauty treatments.

Good Stylist
I have been going to this salon for over 2 years. My stylist moved, and I was able to schedule with a new stylist at the salon, Anastacia. She has obviously been cutting hair for a long time - she does a really good job and she is quick. I have curly hair, but I can style it straight or curly. I have recommended her to several co-workers, my mom, and a few aquaintances. They all love their cuts.

All staff are friendly and make you feel comfortable. I originally went here for make-up consultation, and was very impressed. I came again upon a co-worker's recommendation of a hair stylist, Anastacia. She listened to my requests, and gave me great advice. Her cut was very current style. People always complain that stylists cut off too much hair - not her! I asked for a lot cut off, and she recommended she cut a little at first, and if I want more she would... she was right! I trust her judgement for now on.
